Great product for a great price.My kids have been obsessed with BattleBots lately, we bought this and had no success with the batteries from the remote (bots batteries worked fine). Swapped out for some leftover Energizer LR 44 and they went crazy with it for 4+ hours. After that, batteries toast again. HexBug sells 12 packs of the remote batteries, I strongly suggest you get those as well (they have had the best reviews I have found here and on other sites). Otherwise I recommend purchasing name brand batteries from your local store, the online versions (even Duracell, Energizer) seem to have a theme of coming from old stock. Re: the bot, it does everything you can imagine, could speed, sharp turns, weapon can actually send lighter objects on their way across the battle arena. Overall highly recommended!The package was squashed but other than that it was fine haven't had any problems with it yet.This product is plenty fun to use, but the remote controls have serious reliability issues, had to return to get a new remote because it quit working after a couple hours of use. Also, the product comes with batteries, but the batteries provided for both the remote and for the bot are extremely cheap and don't last more than 2 days. It may as well not come with batteries, because you'll be buying batteries right away.Grandson like his battle bot. He had gotten the arena from my sister. Very very grateful it came so quickly!This battle bot has not worked right since day 1 out of the box! Freezes up and gets stuck. Unfortunately the month window through Amazon has passed, still planning to contact Amazon.The blue pieces that goes on the front of the bot one had came already missing before I opened it. Not Coolboy enjoyedbut broke easily
