I am a Duracell die hard fan! I have tried other batteries, cheaper batteries, more expensive batteries, and none of them in my opinion work as well as Duracell in most cases. I use a lot of batteries so I buy them in bulk which creates a less price per piece in bulk. What’s the say except that I like them! I am continuing to purchase Duracell batteries #1FANI use this product for a device that needs power from a battery. As for how long each battery will last, only time will tell. So, as of right now, my device that needed power is working fine. And lastly, a good value for the money.I ran out of the batteries and the ones I was using were acting weird at the time. I thought it was either batteries or the remote.. the evening after i got the batteries I had to replace the old ones.. I'm SO glad they got here quickly and they have a hundred years on them... just kidding. it's 10 years I think. I immediately put the new ones in the remote and the spares in my little wooden box for batteries. haI have alot of gadgets that use AAA batteries so I like to have them on hand.No complaints about the seller or the quality of the batteries nor their longevity. However, I ordered 56 units and received only 48 in sealed envelopes.I liked the sealed package more so than the open containers.I assumed that their were 56 batteries. After recounting and again recounting I noticed that I had received too few batteries. After contacting the seller I received an immediate credit for the missing batteries. Excellent service from the seller though.I gave only 4 stars since I had not been informed of the reduced quantity beforehand.I HAVE ALWAYS USED DURACELL BATTERIES. I PURCHASED A CONTAINER FOR MY BATTERIES SO I ALWAYS KNOW WHEN TO REPLENISH THEM.Good Looking, used where needed (flashlights, telephone, etc.)Batteries.... nothing more or less than you would find in every store just a larger pack at a better priceI purchased these batteries and after 10 of them for past couple months, realized they are not lasting long at all.I've used 8 of them already and was wondering why they only lasted a couple months in my remotes (TV & Audio components) so before installing the next pair, I decided to check the voltage. Despite the outer casing being labelled "Mar 2028", the voltage on all of them are approximately 0.800 volts. At this point, I can't ask for a return because I only have 8 remaining. I never expected Duracell batteries to have low voltage after sitting for just 2 months. I keep them stored in a drawer with other batteries that I also tested and they are all holding correct voltage. Only these Duracell AAA are low.I do not recommend these batteries. I have no explanation why these batteries would be defective as I've never experienced this in the past with Duracell. I can only speculate this batch that Amazon got was bad.As a rule, I have used name brand batteries in the past but I did try to use a no name brand to see how it would hold up in terms of longevity. Well they may be less expensive but their longevity is not good. So I went back to Duracell which has proven to me that even though you pay more, you are getting a product that will perform extremely well. I primarily use the AAA for my television remotes, computer mouse and my little flashlight (which I use a lot as my cats like to chase the little “red dot” option) Anyway these batteries last far longer than other name brands I have tried. Value for money is great!I mean, it's a giant pack of batteries - highly recommend if you want batteries that'll keep your electronics going quite a long time. I only recommend for large households or people who use a LOT of batteries though - I still had half the box after about 9 months and although I stored them in a dry, dark area, the batteries have crystallized on the outside and aren't functional anymore. So I only got to use half of them, and the other half went to the depot. Disappointing.$19.99 for 16 batteries seems to be on the expensive side- Duracell batteries tend to last longer than other brands when used in most electronics, especially video game controllers- package has a cut out at the back for pulling the batteries out/keeping them organized in the package, but package could be more box like in order to help with storing themThere's a lot of non-name batteries on the market, most made by one of the "big name" manufacturers, and often sold at a considerably lower price than the big name brands. But, when I want a battery I know I can store in a cupboard for a few months or even years before I need it, and I want a battery that won't leak and ruin sensitive equipment, I am still willing to pay a premium for Duracell batteries. Put simply, I have never had a bad experience with a Duracell, over many decades of use: not one has leaked, or gone flat while in storage waiting for use. Sure, you can save a few dollars on a no-name (and I do for some applications) but where I need a battery I know will last and not cause problems, I buy these Duracell packs.
