I chose to use some 2" velcro straps rather than the buckle straps that were provided. Would purchase again for the same application.Great price, and great box, I like that the lid latches in place. Hard to get excited about a battery box but this one does it. FYI hold down STRAP is included.Very sturdy. Nice battery box. Using in my enclosed trailer for aux power. Comes with strap.Great case, thick plastic. But, too small for my big Diehard Truck Battery. Shucks....Purchased this battery box to replace the broken one on the camper. This box holds a Battery Size Group 24 and has enough room for cables to connect to the battery without letting in the elements. The included strap was great to secure the battery to the trailer. Great value.I’ve owned many other cheaper battery boxes, but the top vents in these are surprisingly leaky. will not keep your battery dry left out in the weather and If you have a small/short battery and leave it out in the rain for any length of time you could be in for an unpleasant surprise.This battery box cost me $12 and it arrived over night. The price alone is great! I would easily pay double with no hesitation for this box. The lid works fantastic, and i didnt have to play around with it like some of the other reviewers.
